Full-Time Salesforce.com Systems Analyst

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced IT professional with significant Salesforce.com development experience, who can take full ownership of existing Salesforce.com support processes, while also serving as a Salesforce.com lead developer and architect for major Distribution and Marketing projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Distribution and Marketing as a technical expert for Salesforce.com and related applications
Owner of run-the-shop support processes for Salesforce.com, including:
- Directing a team of local and remote developers
- Monitoring of all system components and immediate response to problems and alerts
- Prompt communication and resolution of problems reported by end users
- Routine development efforts including bug fixes and service requests (Analysis and design of Salesforce.com solutions that meet project requirements while maintaining end-to-end architectural integrity
Work with business support team to develop business requirements and technical specifications
Work with other technical teams to integrate Salesforce.com with other enterprise systems
Follow Project Management Office guidelines for project execution and documentation
Develop and maintain standards for Salesforce.com development and support, including code version management, change control, bug/request tracking, release schedules, and code reviews
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and relevant system development technologies
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related area
3-5 years IT experience with enterprise-level application support and development, including Java, web services, Oracle databases and Informatica ETL tools
Significant experience with Salesforce.com development, including Apex, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, SOQL/SOSL, and custom integrations
Experience developing and implementing process improvements
Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and information security principles
Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience leading development teams
Prior experience architecting and designing software solutions
Knowledge of quality methodology, e.g., Six Sigma
Familiarity with Genworth Risk Assessment and Attestation processes
Insurance/Financial Services experience
